Puka is coming off a massive, nearly historic season, but his physical, early-winning style creates durability and year-to-year volatility, and he remains tied to Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford, a pairing behind some of the greatest WR seasons in recent memory. We still don’t know what Puka looks like beyond that environment.
If he stays healthy and produces another ungodly season, that’s the risk. But in a .25 PPC league, David Montgomery, a 2027 first with legitimate early-to-mid upside, and Jordyn Tyson—our favorite WR in the class, an exceptional mover who landed with Kellen Moore and an ascending New Orleans offense—is a premium haul. We’ll take the package.

Had the 1.01 from earlier shrewd maneuvering and saw an opportunity to get a significant upgrade to pair with T-Law. The WAR difference on Hurts compared to Darnold is a significant gap, especially in a heavy PPC.
Additionally, being able to secure Kyren, JAMO, and 1.12 ensures that I not only replace Love and Sutton PPG but also allow myself more flexibility for future tier-ups. JAMO and Kyren are pieces that can be used to tier up at their respective positions because of how the community views them. This sort of deal gives me so much leverage it’s not funny.

Huge consolidation move here. Gibbs in a heavy PPC is a 3.5-plus WAR asset, and to be able to acquire him and get Stafford in return—whose WAR was similar to T-Law’s last season—is an incredible steal.
This is the same league where I had acquired Kyren and JAMO previously, so this move was a part of my offseason plan to continue the consolidation process as I work to repeat as reigning champ.

This isn’t a flashy move, but it’s one that maximizes the scoring format by providing both depth and WAR at the flex position.
Snagging Higgins is also a semi-handcuff move because I have Chase on the roster. Having Higgins gives me extra insulation on my best asset. Rico Dowdle-type RBs in this format provide unsung WAR and raise the weekly floor of a roster already boasting CMC, Gibbs, Hampton, and Kyren. Getting this kind of WAR-productive depth in a .25 PPC is league breaking.

This is a move where I’m betting on Tyson at 1.02, who is the guy I drafted. Tyson is my number-one overall WR in the class. The deal allowed me to cheaply acquire blue-chip talent while simultaneously getting off an aging asset and receiving value for him.
My WR core is constructed so I don’t need Tyson to be a WR1 on day one. With JSN, Olave, and Wan’Dale Robinson heading the room, I can give Tyson growth time without sacrificing WAR. With Jalen Hurts and Nix at QB, the roster is constructed to take targeted shots with non-needle-moving assets on a player who can become a WAR difference maker.

This deal was done off Kamara’s last productive season. It was a moment of realization where I’d rather sell Kamara a year early than risk him dying on the roster.
I shopped all 10 teams, and this was the best deal I could get. I was thrilled to receive a first for him given his age. I later used that first in a consolidation move to tier up at WR, so it worked out wonderfully.

I had good depth at RB with Gibbs and Henderson already, so I took the chance to significantly bolster my WR room in a format where I must start three WRs and can play up to five.
The WAR favors WR without points per first down or PPC to level the field for RBs. The move ended magnificently: Puka was historic, Nico was very good when available, Hampton missed half the year, and BTJ’s performance significantly dropped.

First, this is a leverage deal. That 2027 first is projected in the 1.01–1.04 range, which is huge. Second, the move gives me three 2027 firsts. The goal is to use them to tier up at a premium position, further strengthen the roster, and maximize WAR output.

Have courage in your convictions. I was a big believer in Dart, was ecstatic that he was drafted in the first round, and watched the buzz—or lack thereof—in the community. I believed I would have no issue getting him at the back of the first in rookie drafts.
QB was probably not my biggest need because I had previously drafted Caleb Williams and Bo Nix in the startup, but I saw the upside that came to fruition once Dart got on the field.

Be early on decline, get younger with upside, and diversify. This team has aging assets and is thin at RB and TE. Jacobs’ finish to the season signaled decline to me. He has begun to break down late in multiple consecutive seasons. Entering his age-28 season, this felt like the time to get out before it was too late.
Mayer had trade buzz when the deal was made and has shown TE1 flashes if a move happens or he signs elsewhere. Braelon Allen was acquired as Breece Hall’s heir apparent before Hall’s extension and now serves as a handcuff. Jordan James is a pure upside bet behind CMC. I missed the opportunity to make this kind of move with James Conner last season. Fool me once.

I messaged while on the clock with both TEs available and offered to move back so a manager could get his guy. Had I simply selected mine, I would not have received the free 3.10. Stowers was still there at 1.11.

Take advantage when a leaguemate is frightened by production they view as fluky. If you believe in a young producer and their offers reveal doubt, be there to capture the value.
The Fannin owner appeared to decide the production was not real or repeatable. LaPorta is a good TE but is getting older and has dealt with a lingering back injury. Fannin had an extraordinary season, and I also believe in Coker. The urgency to remove Fannin created a big value win for my roster.

When you have an expiring asset—particularly when you believe or have heard directly that the player will retire—seek out the team that needs the position most and get whatever value you can.
I had Aaron Rodgers and four starting QBs. His value was at its lowest and would work toward zero throughout the season. As the Breece owner, I got a potential handcuff plus a startable TE. The shopping can be difficult, but receiving anything for an expiring asset is a win.

Sometimes your roster is just damn good and you have a roster crunch. When your worst player is not someone you can bring yourself to cut, shop him to teams with open spots or to the manager rostering the starter. Get a pick, bundle two players for one, or at worst sell for FAAB.
Do not flush value. You will be surprised what you can get when you do someone’s shopping for them.
