The Read: Warren is the rare tight end prospect whose weirdness became the point instead of the disclaimer. Penn State used him as a tight end, H-back, wildcat piece, short-area creator, seam target, red-zone finisher, and occasional passer, then Indianapolis immediately gave him real offensive oxygen. A 76-catch, 817-yard rookie year is not “wait and see” tight end talk. It is already a usable dynasty advantage with formation flexibility, quarterback-proof layup value, and enough target gravity to grow into a weekly sledgehammer if the Colts keep building through him.
Dynasty UseBuild-around TE advantageFits teams that want a young weekly starter with reception volume, designed-touch upside, and enough offensive centrality to separate from the replacement TE blob.
Risk ShapeTD volatility and ecosystem churnThe player is already validated. The remaining risk is whether the passing tree and quarterback room let him stay in the 100-target neighborhood.
