The Read: Raymond reaches Chicago as one of the NFL’s most durable self-made specialists, not as a ceremonial returner finishing out the string. The Bears guaranteed $3 million on a one-year deal, reunited him with Ben Johnson and Antwaan Randle El, and have already used his vertical speed, quickness, and run-after-catch ability throughout the offense. That creates a legitimate WR5 and best-ball spike case, especially in return-yardage formats. It does not erase the target order: Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, and Colston Loveland remain central, while Raymond turns 32 on a one-year contract. The edge is role versatility and weekly eruption, not stable receiving volume.
Dynasty UseReturn-format weapon / WR5 spike depthPrioritize him where return yards score; otherwise use the speed and designed-touch lane as deep best-ball or matchup ammunition.
Risk ShapeReal role, thin target claimAge 32, one-year control, and a crowded skill group keep his standard-scoring usefulness more volatile than his NFL value.
