The Read: Johnson is a Day 3 back with an actual passing-game résumé, not just a “can catch” sticker slapped on the box. Kansas City gets a compact, patient runner with receiving comfort, tempo, and enough inside credibility to avoid the pure satellite-back trap. The ceiling is probably not workhorse dominance, but the PPR path is real if he earns protection trust and becomes the annoying committee connector who keeps showing up in money downs.
