The Read: Slayton is not a weekly volume hammer, but he has survived because speed keeps getting invited back into the building. He gives an offense vertical releases, boundary stress, deep crossers, and air-yard conversion when the quarterback can give him a real runway. In fantasy, the profile is narrow but not useless: depth receiver, best-ball spike piece, and occasional injury/bye-week plug when the matchup tilts toward downfield shots. The floor is thin parchment. The spike weeks still have ink.
Dynasty UseDepth WR / best-ball spikeBest used as roster depth, vertical exposure, and matchup-based spike access rather than a weekly managed-league starter.
Risk ShapeTarget volume and QB environmentThe big-play profile needs air yards, timing, and quarterback aggression. Without those ingredients, the weekly floor gets brittle fast.
