The Read: Pierce is fighting for a Philadelphia roster lane, not walking into the Saquon Barkley handcuff job. The rookie-year force, 1,684 career rushing yards, and legitimate kickoff-return history keep the football case alive; the one-year deal and crowded depth chart keep the dynasty case conditional. He has produced a long camp run, shared RB3 work, and enough return utility to press younger competition. Until he clears cuts and climbs above Tank Bigsby, this is a contingent-volume bet rather than a lineup asset.
