The Read: Wentz remains more useful to an NFL quarterback room than his dynasty market suggests, but Minnesota has built layers between usefulness and fantasy starts. He produced 1,216 yards and six touchdowns across five 2025 starts before shoulder surgery ended the run, then returned on a one-year deal to a room led by Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy. The veteran can still operate Kevin O’Connell’s offense and feed elite targets. The asset problem is access: age 33, a one-year runway, real durability wear, and two higher-priority quarterbacks make every start injury-triggered rather than bankable.
Dynasty UseDeep Superflex contingency stashHold only where replacement-level starts matter and the roster can wait for Minnesota’s depth chart to break his way.
Risk ShapeCrowded path plus durability debtA credible emergency starter still needs multiple events to create volume, and his last opportunity ended in surgery.
