The Read: Wease turned a practice-squad rookie year into a three-game NFL flare: six catches, 139 yards, one touchdown, and a first down on every reception. The 23.2-yard average is real evidence that his size and route pacing can create explosives, but it is still a six-catch sample produced after Miami’s receiver room broke open late in the season. Hill and Waddle are gone, yet the Dolphins answered with veterans Jalen Tolbert and Tutu Atwell plus three drafted rookies. Wease enters Year 2 with more NFL proof than most fringe receivers and almost no contractual insulation. His dynasty value is the chance that the late flash survives a crowded roster cut and grows into an outside role.
Dynasty UseDeep-league boundary stashHold only where a roster spot and an outside snap lane would create immediate value; the late-2025 efficiency gives the bet a pulse.
Risk ShapeTiny sample, brutal competitionTwelve camp receivers, three new draft picks, no current guarantees, and limited special-teams proof leave the roster floor exposed.
