The Read: Mumpfield turned seventh-round capital into a full rookie season, a real rotational snap share, and three postseason catches. That is meaningful survival, not fantasy arrival. His route pacing, intermediate separation, and ability to work outside or from the slot fit Sean McVay’s offense, but Puka Nacua and Davante Adams own the target tree while Jordan Whittington, Xavier Smith, and rookie CJ Daniels crowd the complementary lanes. The dynasty case is a 23-year-old technician earning more trust; the risk is that useful Rams depth never becomes usable fantasy volume.
Dynasty UseDeep-roster Year 2 stashHold only where young NFL roster survivors, offseason role growth, and deep benches justify waiting behind an elite target hierarchy.
Risk ShapeTrust can grow before targets doThe Rams can value his route discipline and versatility while heavy personnel and veteran stars keep the weekly fantasy line empty.
