The Read: Waller’s 2025 comeback proved the specialty still works: isolate a 6’6″ former receiver, let him own leverage, and throw where smaller defenders cannot finish the rep. Six touchdowns on 24 catches in nine games kept the red-zone case alive. It did not restore weekly trust. He is 33, unsigned, and coming off another season interrupted by hip, pectoral, and groin trouble. In TE-premium formats, Waller is a landing-spot stash with touchdown leverage—not a name-value shortcut to a stable starter.
Dynasty UseLanding-spot TE-premium stashHold where deep benches can wait for a passing offense to buy his seam and red-zone package.
Risk ShapeBody, role, and employmentA useful signature could create spike weeks; another quiet market or soft-tissue interruption can erase the asset quickly.
