The Read: Wilson is still more runway than résumé, but the runway is real. The Steelers drafted him for suddenness, competitiveness, and a Michigan profile that translated beyond box-score volume. His first meaningful NFL receiving line is modest, not meaningless: 12 catches, two touchdowns, and enough vertical/slot movement flashes to keep him on the dynasty bench-radar instead of the roster compost pile. This is not a finished product. It is a cheap bet on a Day 2 receiver who can still win the middle of the field if the target tree opens.
