The Read: Engram is still one of the cleaner examples of the receiving tight end who never really wanted to live in a phone booth. The fantasy appeal is speed, spacing, detached usage, and catch volume when the offense lets him play like a matchup lever instead of asking him to cosplay as a sixth lineman. Denver gives him a useful role with Bo Nix, but the dynasty answer is narrower now: he is a contender depth and spot-start piece with spike-week memory.
Dynasty UseContender TE2 / matchup flexUseful when Denver leans into spacing, tempo, and red-zone misdirection. Less useful if the role settles into low-snap volatility.
Risk ShapeAge, role compression, touchdown thinnessThe 2023 volume monster is still in the file, but the current valuation has to price older-TE fragility and lower guaranteed target share.
