The Read: Washington is a fantasy patience test wearing a castle gate as a jersey. The real-football value is obvious: attached-Y mass, edge displacement, heavy personnel credibility, and enough seam/catch-radius ability to make defenses respect him as more than an extra tackle. The fantasy question is route share. If Pittsburgh lets him grow beyond blocking gravity into a red-zone and play-action target, he becomes a cheap touchdown-and-role-growth bet. If not, he remains a useful NFL piece that dynasty managers mostly watch from the waiver wire.
Dynasty UseDeep TE stashBest held where tight end depth matters and touchdown spikes or route-share growth can create sudden utility.
Risk ShapeBlocking value can hide fantasy valueHis snap value can stay real while his route volume stays thin, which makes him more useful to Pittsburgh than to lineups.
